Ukrainian authorities have declared the start of mass production for a new locally engineered defensive UAV to enhance its aerial protection systems. The first three manufacturers have begun manufacturing, with 11 more preparing to establish assembly lines, the defence ministry stated on Friday.

'Octopus' Technology Tested in Combat Conditions

The drones utilize a domestically developed technology called “Octopus” designed to neutralize Iranian-made drones. This technology underwent testing in actual battle and proved effective “at night, under jamming and flying low,” officials stated.
